Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael N. Fine, an attorney experienced in assisting non-profit and tax-exempt organizations, has joined the Firm. Mr. Fine recently relocated to Louisville from Washington D.C., where he was the Co-Chair of the Tax Exemption Affinity Group at the international law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery LLP. Mr. Fine received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

In his practice, Mr. Fine advises tax-exempt organizations on transactions, corporate governance, executive compensation, joint ventures, charitable contributions and obtaining tax exemption. Mr. Fine is active in the American Health Lawyers Association, as Vice Chair of the Tax and Finance Practice Group. He has also been invited to join a “Non-Profit Task Force” formed by the Secretary of State which is looking at updating Kentucky’s non-profit statutes.
