Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to announce that Franklin K. Jelsma has been named to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is the Commonwealth’s primary business advocacy group. The Board oversees the operations of the organization, and is comprised of many of Kentucky’s most prominent business leaders working to unite business and advance Kentucky.
Mr. Jelsma is a Partner in the Firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of general business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and venture capital transactions. He is a graduate of Princeton University and holds a law degree from the University of Kentucky.
Prior to joining the Wyatt firm, he worked in the office of the Governor of Kentucky, serving in several capacities including as chief of staff. He has a long history of civic involvement, currently serving as vice chair of the Prichard Committee, vice chair of the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation, a member of the Louisville Rotary Club and a long time tutor in the Every1Reads program.
