Wilson H. Carroll is a member of the Firm's Governmental Affairs & Regulated Industries Service Team.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of casino gaming, business litigation and governmental affairs.

Representative Litigation

 

Mr. Carroll handles all forms of business and commercial litigation in state and federal court, including the defense of mass tort claims, such as welding rod litigation and asbestos claims. 

Professional Experience

 
  • Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Mississippi and Chief Counsel to the Mississippi Gaming Commission, helped draft comprehensive regulations governing the Mississippi gaming industry and authored numerous Attorney General opinions interpreting the Gaming Control Act
  • Received a gaming license and served as General Manager for two casinos in Mississippi
  • First Mississippi attorney elected to the Board of Trustees of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys
  • First Executive Director and General Counsel to the Mississippi Casino Operators Association
  • Vice President of Lady Luck Gaming Corporation, 1996-2000, handled all licensing, regulatory and governmental affairs at the federal, state and local levels
